Professional and relaxed yard run by 4* eventer and World Cup Showjumper looking for working pupil. Daily duties include but are not limited to: Feeding, rugging, catching, handling, tacking, and hosing of horses. Paddock cleaning, competition grooming, and some riding will be available for the right applicant.
We run an agistment and training facility so a friendly, approachable nature is a must. Experience with horses is a requirement, although training for plaiting, clipping comp grooming etc is available. Weekends are mostly spent at eventing or showjumping competitions and days are long but we are a friendly, relaxed and welcoming team. The applicant will be required to work both in a team and alone.
Position is for someone looking to further their riding and horsemanship skills. Own horse is encouraged in order to compete and train. Lessons with professional coach provided, as is accommodation, shoeing and food for horse and applicant. Some competition entries provided, as is travel.
Must have positive attitude and good work ethic. Enthusiasm is more important than experience!
