Trainer/Rider/Horse-Person – 1 Day a Week

Negotiable 4-7 hours/1 Day a Week
Hourly Rate, paid weekly via Invoice (ABN preferred, or open to getting ABN)
Location – 12 mins from Daylesford/ 30 mins Ballarat/ 1 hour 20 mins Melbourne
Undercover arena space (40 by 20 undercover/ 60 by 20 arena), feed yards, Trail rides out gate in Wombat State Forest
Quals and Experience less important than Approach and Skills with Horses and Herd.
Tasks/Focus-
Assessing Herd of 12 Assorted Herd Members & Individual Needs (not working with all!)
Starting under Saddle/Education under Saddle priority focus 5 yo arabians (2), 1 friesian, 8 yrs.
Focus on Kindness, Awareness, Clarity in requests, Relaxation and Regulation of Horse, and Relationship-building as primary
Relaxation, Pleasure and Trail riding as focus, with relaxed gaits in arena
Use of Feel and Softness in Relating and Riding, Skillful & Safe.
Beneficial/ Speciali Interests-  classical dressage knowledge, natural horsemanship principles, poles and use of equipment, experience on Trails, bitless riding, barefoot hooves, videoing skills/communication skills, equine studies, biomechanics, understanding of learning theory (learning quadrants), positive reinforcement, enrichment, nutrition, equine coaching
Age – open, 18 years to 70! own transport
