We have a vacancy for a Sanctuary Manager at our sanctuary in Tarampa starting from 12 April 2017.
This is a live-in position, you receive rent and utilities in exchange for caring for the horses on weekends and covering any holidays/sick leave of staff. Please note – unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children under 16.

Accommodation: 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house including pool (rent and utility free). There is room for one horse. Pets on application.
Location: Tarampa, Queensland
Hours: Weekends, Public Holidays and days when staff are sick or on leave.
Feeding and caring for horses – assisting with feed shifts – approx 2 hours morning and night;
Must be present on the property overnight, every night;
Maintaining the property as required;
Supervising and managing volunteers when required;
Assisting with vet, farrier and specialist appointments when required.
Must be experienced with handling horses;
Must hold a current drivers license;
Must be well organised, hard working, dedicated, able to take instructions well and have excellent time management skills;
Must be clean and tidy;
Must be fit, reliable and dedicated.
