The Stables Coordinator will strive to position the resort as an exceptional destination for recreational horse riding activities within the luxury segment & continuously strive to exceed customer expectations by providing lifelong memories to guests.
We require a passionate & talented individual to oversee the operations of the horse riding program. The key objectives of the role are to ensure that we provide an exceptional & memorable horse riding experience with utmost consideration for the safety of our guests & colleagues, horse welfare & financial sustainability.
Our program of experiences includes trail riding for adults & children through the spectacular Wolgan Valley, as well a range of activities focusing on riding & horsemanship skills for beginner – novice riders. You will have responsibility for the care and management of a small team of 18 trail riding horses & 3 horse guides & will be the key point of contact for all horse related enquiries from guests, suppliers, contractors and stakeholders.
The person we seek must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role or demonstrated relevant experience
- Formal qualifications as Trail Ride Leader &/or Riding Instructor
- Understanding of & ability to implement safety procedures & risk management strategies consistent with Horse Safety Australia & Safe Work NSW
- Demonstrated skills & physical ability to school horses in basic dressage (flat work) & in open country to ensure they are fit, well trained & a pleasure to ride
