Stud Hand

Swettenham Stud has opportunities for employment for the following position.

The position for Stud Hand will include the following duties but not limited to:

• Cleaning and mucking out of horse stables/yards
• Day to day preparation and dispersing of feed regimes to horses
• Handling and grooming of young stock and mares
• Assisting with management of horses whilst attended by veterinarians, farriers
• Perform drenching, vaccinations and veterinary treatments as instructed
• Preparing horses for departure and reporting of any injuries or illness prior to departure
• Working 12 day fortnight
• Other duties as required
